Ingredients :
- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 large can whole tomatoes, crushed
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons basil
- 1 teaspoons thyme
- to taste kosher salt
- to taste course black pepper
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup dry parmesan cheese
- 1 lb shredded cheese
- 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
Method :
- In a large cast iron skillet add olive oil, garlic, onions and, meat cook through then drain.
- In a large pot of water add salt then boil and add pasta. Cook till al dente, then save some of the pasta water.
- Add herbs, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and saved pasta water to meat then stir then, add pasta and cheese.
