Ingredients :
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 cups strong (bread) flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon easy blend (quick) yeast
- olive oil or milk to glaze
Method :
- Place water and oil in bread pan, add flour, or in the order for your machine.
- Place salt, sugar and yeast in different corners, set bread machine to dough (basic or pizza) setting, switch on.
- When dough is ready remove from pan onto lightly floured surface, gently knock back (knead) dough. Form in to sausage shape, cut in to eight equal pieces.
- Remove cling film, lightly brush with olive oil or milk, place in pre-heated oven 200°C, 400°F . For 18- 20 minutes until cooked, should sound hollow if tapped.
- You can sprinkle with sesame or poppy seeds when glazing at step 5.
