Ingredients :
- 6 shallots diced
- 1 tablespoon Worcester sauce
- Sausage meat
- to taste salt and pepper
- 1 roll puff pastry
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- anything else you fancy
- 1 egg yolk
Method :
- Prepare your ingredients, dice shallots finely, put sausage meat into a bowl with all the spices and onions and mix well, preheat oven to gas mark 5.
- Mix the ingredients well so thoroughly distributed.
- Roll out puff pastry into a long sheet, put the mixed sausage meat into a log shape on top of pastry then close sides of pastry over to make a lid and sausage roll.
- Grease a oven tray and place sausage roll on top them score the top of the sausage roll thinly with a knife.
- Apply eggy wash over visible parts them put in oven on number 5 for around 55 minutes till golden brown. Check the temp before serving and enjoy.
