Recipe Yogurt Cilantro Beef Skewers

Resep Yogurt Cilantro Beef Skewers

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef
  • 1/4-1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 onion
  • 3 Tbsp oil
  • 1 Tbsp acid (lime, lemon juice or vinegar)
  • 4-5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1-2 inch piece of ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • to taste hot sauce or hot peppers
  • 1 Tbsp Garam masala or curry powder

Method :
  1. Mix everything except the beef in a blender
  2. Slice your beef so it is about the same height as width. Mine are about 1/2 a side.
  3. Mix beef and marinade. I let mine marinate over night typically. So this is usually make a day ahead thing for me.
  4. About 1 hour before cooking, soak your bamboo skewers so they don"t burn, if using.
  5. Place beef skewers so they will cook evenly. Leave space between pieces. I"m folding these in half because of their length
  6. Grill on a medium high heat turning as each side is done. For my pieces here, about 3 minutes a side
  7. Serve hot
