
Ingredients :
- 90 g butter or margarine
- 90 g sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 100 ml milk
- 200 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 1/2 apple
- 2 Tbsp water
- 20 g sugar (step 1)
- 40 g butter or magarine (step 2)
- 80 g sugar (step 2)
Method :
- Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core and then slice again into about 5 mm (1/4 in) thick segments. Put the slices into a pot with 2 Tbsp water and 20 g sugar and heat until the apple has softened. Turn off heat and leave to cool down.
- Grease a cake baking tin with butter or oil. Microwave the 40 g butter for 30 seconds, add the 80 g sugar and mix, then pour into the cake tin. Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
- Put the 90 g butter into a bowl, mix it until it becomes creamy, then add 90 g sugar. Mix very well until the mixture becomes white. Next slowly add the beaten eggs while continuing to mix well.
- Sift the flour and baking powder, and put half of each into the bowl. Add milk slowly and mix, then add the rest of the flour and baking powder. Mix until smooth.
- Place the apples on the cake tin side by side in a circular fan pattern. Add the batter mixture and level out the surface a little. Bake for 35 min.
- When cooked, let it cool it for a while, then turn upside down on a plate to remove from the cake tin. It"s done!
