Ingredients :
- 80 g crunchy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp coconut or vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 180 g oats
- 20 g sunflower seeds
- handful raisins
Method :
- Warm the peanut butter, honey and oil in a pan on a low heat. When melted, stir in the vanilla extract. Preheat the oven to 150C/Gas 3.
- Mix the oats and sunflower seeds into the peanut butter mixture and stir well until combined.
- Spread the granola on a baking tray lined with baking parchment and place in the oven for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn over the granola, return to the oven for another 5 minutes. Turn again, it may need another few minutes, or just place in the oven and turn it off.
- When golden all over remove from the oven and stir in a handful of raisins. Leave to cool completely on the tray before storing in an airtight container. Serve with ice cold milk.
