Ingredients :
- filling
- 10 grams sugar
- 10 grams jaggery
- 25 grams dry coconut
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds (white)
- pinch cardamom powder
- 1 tbsp fried Gram
- oil to deep fry
- dough
- 25 grams flour
- 10 grams Semolina
- pinch salt
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1= water
Method :
- Make a soft dough and rest it for 30 min
- Grate the coconut; lightly fry poppy seeds and seasame seeds
- Powder the jaggery and fried gram
- Mix all the ingredients of filling. Divide the prepared dough in to small portion and role to thin disc.
- Place the prepared filling 1 tsp in the centre and fold to half moon shape and seal properly
- Add the oil and deep fry prepared karjikai
