Recipe Baked glazed doughnuts

Resep Baked glazed doughnuts

Ingredients :

  • Dough
  • 640 grams all-purpose flour
  • 320 ml milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 30 grams butter
  • 8 grams active dry yeast
  • 80 grams sugar
  • pinch salt
  • pinch nutmeg
  • pinch cinnamon
  • Glaze
  • 300 grams powdered sugar
  • 30 grams butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 tbsp water

Method :
  1. Heat up the milk with the butter until warm to the touch.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer add the flour, yeast, sugar,salt and spices.
  3. When the milk and butter are warm to the touch add them to the flour mixture with the eggs.
  4. Start the mixer on low and increase the speed.
  5. Knead it for 5 minutes.
  6. When finished kneading transfer the dough into a lightly oiled bowl.
  7. Let it rise for about 60 minutes in a warm place.
  8. Once risen divide the dough into 2 pieces.
  9. Lightly flour your surface and roll each piece of dough into a 1/2 cm disc.
  10. Cut the dough using 2 circle cutters or a doughnut cutter.
  11. Place the doughnuts on a tray lined with parchment paper.
  12. Place the tray in the praheated oven to 200°C for about 8 to 12 minutes.
  13. Mix all the ingredients for the icing until smooth.
  14. While the doughnuts are still hot dip them in the icing and put them on a cooling rack to drip the excess icing.
  15. After about 5 minutes redip the doughnuts in the icing.
  16. Enjoy!
