Ingredients :
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 1 tsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 1/2 tsp chopped mint
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/4 lb ground lamb
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper
Method :
- Heat olive oil in a pan on medium heat. Add cumin garlic and onion. Cook until onions are translucent, about 3 min
- Stir in tomato paste, oregano, and mint. Transfer to a bowl and combine with pork, lamb and egg. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll into balls with about 1 tbsp of mixture per ball
- Preheat oven to 400°F
- Saute the meatballs over medium heat, until well browned.
- Transfer to a baking sheet and bake until cooked through, about 8 min. Transfer to towels to drain oil.
