
Ingredients :
- For the dough:
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup water
- Pinch salt
- For the filling:
- 2 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup semolina
Method :
- Mix flour, salt and water and knead for 10-15 minutes
- Now on an oily surface take one of the dough balls and stretch it till almost translucent, take a portion of our filling and place it in the middle of the dough, now start folding the four sides of the dough inwards, press gently on it and complete all other dough balls the same way. Deep fry all 8 squares of tamrieh till its beautifully golden, sprinkle some icing sugar and enjoy it hot.
