
Ingredients :
- 4 large apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Method :
- Fill a 4-quart stockpot with 1 inch of water and insert a steamer basket.
- Place cinnamon sticks in basket and bring water to a boil.
- Add apples and cook for 20 minutes, until soft.
- Cool for 5 minutes and place in a food processor.
- Puree until smooth. Stir in vanilla extract and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
