Ingredients :
- 8-16 ounces Steak
- salt
- pepper
- 2-3 cloves garlic
- 4-5 sprigs thyme preferably fresh
- 1/2 tablespoon romesary
- 2 tbsp butter
- olive oil
Method :
- Season the steak with salt and pepper. Be generous people, it can take it. Heat about 1/4 cup of the oil in the pan until it"s lightly smoking.
- Place steak in the pan and sear it. The more color the better once content flip steak and repeat.
- Crush your garlic and add it along with your thyme rosemary and butter. Baste the steak and rub the garlic all over it.
- Flip the steak up on the edges to sear and render fat. Fat gives meat flavor it"s not bad!
- Once you achieve the cook you want and an even sear take the steak out and let it rest! Rest it for at least 5 minutes before doing anything to it ;)
