
Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 cup Rice
- 3 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 1/2 tbsp Parsley
- 1 tbsp Oregano
- 1 tbsp Turmeric
- 1/2 stick Butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
Method :
- Cook rice (I use a rice cooker), dump into large mixing bowl.
- Plop in room temp butter. I listed a half stick, but you can do to taste. Drizzle in Olive oil. Stir until butter is melted.
- Add in turmeric, salt, oregano, parsley and pepper. Stir well. Until rice develops bright yellow hue.
- Caution: Turmeric WILL STAIN your hands and countertops bright yellow! Be careful. Portion out and enjoy!
