Ingredients :
- 7 chicken wings
- 1 Tbsp Shaoxing wine
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp chicken stock
- 1 pinch salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 piece ginger
Method :
- Season the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Put them into a pot with a little oil and fry until the chicken browns, then add the sliced ginger.
- When the ginger starts to smell good, add the Shaoxing wine, sugar, chicken stock, salt, pepper, and water. Boil for about 20 minutes on medium heat until the soup is almost completely reduced.
- This is delicious to serve with vegetables, such as sliced cabbage, lettuce or bok choy. Put the chicken wings on the vegetables and pour the rest of sauce on the top.
