Ingredients :
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 lb ground veal
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup milk
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/3 cup finely chopped parsley
- 1 3/4 tsp salt (I use 1 1/4 teaspoons since I don't care for salt that much)
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 clove garlic, finely chopped
Method :
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, combine the milk and bread crumbs.
- Add the ground meats, parsley, eggs, garlic, salt, pepper and cheese.
- Mix thoroughly with your hands.
- Form into 2 inch balls.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet.
- You can use a rack to keep them above any drained off fat if you prefer.
- Bake for 15 minutes and check the center of a meatball to ensure they are done.
- Cook for a few more minutes if needed.
- Add the meatballs to your favorite sauce and cook over medium low heat, covered, for 20 to 30 minutes.
- *This recipe makes about 18 meatballs.*
