Ingredients :
- 1 lb. brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 c. AP flour
- 1/2 t. kosher salt
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Method :
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Grease a jelly-roll pan (15x10x1).
- In a medium saucepan, beat the eggs and sugar until well-combined.
- Over VERY low heat, whisk the mixture constantly until the sugar melts. (I alternate the pot on and off the heat. If the eggs cook, it"s ruined!)
- Remove from heat, and add remaining ingredients. Stir with stiff spoon (it will be DENSE!) until combined.
- Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
- Bake 15 minutes. Cool and cut.
