Recipe backed spinach dumplings

Resep backed spinach dumplings

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 kg bread cubes
  • 1 kg frozen leaf spinach (defrosted)
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 rapeseed oil
  • 50 grams parmesan cheese
  • 1 salt
  • 1 pepper
  • 3 eggs
  • 300 ml milk
  • 1 butter

Method :
  1. Put the bread cubes in a large pot. Grate the cheese and mix it with the cubes.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan. Add the chopped onions and the garlic. Chop the spinach an also put it in the pan.
  3. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Mix the warm spinach with the cubes and wait 10 minutes.
  5. Now whisk the eggs with the milk and mix it with the spinach-cubes.
  6. Let it rest for about 1 hour.
  7. Preheat the oven to 200℃. Form dumplings and place them on a griddle. Before baking put some melted butter on them.
  8. Bake the dumplings for 20 minutes till they are golden brown. Enjoy them hot with melted butter and grated parmesan.
