
Ingredients :
- sauce
- 1 1/2 lb ground meat
- 28 oz diced tomatoes
- 28 oz tomato sauce
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried sweet basil
- 1 tsp granulated garlic powder
- 1 small onion chopped
- spaghetti
- 1 large spaghetti squash
- 1 water
- topping
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Method :
- Preheat oven 400° Fahrenheit
- Cut the spaghetti squash in half top to bottom length wise. Then remove the seeds.
- In a baking dish put the squash down cut side down. Add water just enough to cover the bottom of dish and spaghetti squash. Bake covered 30-40 minutes. Or until fork tender in the flesh part of squash. Check after 20 minutes if using a smaller squash.
- While that is cooking, brown the meat, add onions. Drain when browned.
- Add the rest of the ingredients of the sauce. Simmer till squash is done.
- When squash is done take a fork and gently shred out the spaghetti squash length wise. Put on a plate add sauce, the parsley and cheese.
