Recipe Chicken Soup

Ingredients :

  • 2 russet potatoes
  • several stalks of celery
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 white onion (or yellow onion)
  • 2 cubes chicken bullion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Method :
  1. Wash the potatoes, but do not skin them.
  2. Cut the potatoes into pieces whose longest dimension is 3/4"
  3. Boil the potatoes for 3 minutes, then drain the water. This serves to clean them of any unwanted stuff.
  4. Refill the stockpot with 3 quarts of water. Bring it to a boil and cook the potatoes. Add salt and pepper.
  5. As the potatoes are cooking, cut up the onion, carrots, and celery, into 3/4" long pieces, and add them to the soup as they become ready.
  6. Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and 2 cubes of chicken bullion.
  7. Boil until a knife easily passes through the potatoes and carrots.
