Ingredients :
- 2 Lb Chicken
- 1 Tbsp Onion Powder
- 1.5 tsp Smoked Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Himalayan Pink Salt
- 3 Tbsp Cholula Hot Sauce
- For the glaze
- 3 Tbsp Cholula Hot Sauce
- 1.5 Tbsp Brown Sugar
Method :
- Place chicken in resealable bag. Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl, and pour into the bag. Seal bag and massage the ingredients to coat chicken.
- Marinade for 4 to 12 hours to infuse the meat.
- Preheat oven for BBQ to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook on raised rack for 35 minutes.
- Brush chicken with glaze and move chicken down on to flame for 5 minutes turning frequently to avoid burning.
- If using oven, switch oven to a medium broil setting. Brush chicken with glaze, broil 2 minutes then turn chicken and glaze again. Broil for 2 more minutes.
- Note: I used Chicken drumsticks, but you can use your favorite part. This works well with chicken breast cut in to stips also, as this photo shows.
