Ingredients :
- 2 lbs strawberries
- 1 lemon
- 2 large pinches of sugar
- 1 C flour
- 1 C oats
- 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1 stick cold butter; cubed
Method :
- Slice stems off strawberries. Cut in half. Lay in a medium sized casserole dish. Add sugar and squeeze lemon over strawberries and mix.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, oats, and brown sugar. Mix together. Add butter. Using your fingertips, squueze the cold butter into the oat mixture until binded together in chunks.
- Spread oat mixture across the top of the strawberries. Do not leave any gaps.
- Bake uncovered at 350° for approximately 50 minutes or until bubbly, browned, and crisp.
