Ingredients :
- 1 cup Gluten free Flour
- 3/4 cup Curd
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 10-15 Kimia Dates
- 1/2 tea spoon Baking Soda
- Roasted Nuts
- Pinch salt
- Fresh grape juice
Method :
- Deseed the kimia dates(the soft kind) and form a paste. Mix this paste with curd, milk and add the baking soda and keep aside for 5 mins till you see bubbles forming.
- Mix the gluten free flour with the roasted nuts and unsalted butter.
- Mix the dry ingredients with wet ingredients to form a paste like mixture, add salt to taste.
- Pour this mixture in an greased baking tin.
- I don"t own a microwave owen hence I baked the cake in an pressure cooker on medium flame for 45 mins.
- Once the cake is baked which can be checked with the help of a knife, let the cake cool off for 10-15 mins. Add the fresh grape juice or any citrus fruit juice to moisten the cake.
