Recipe Soft Gingerbread Cookies

Resep Soft Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice

Method :
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Next, beat in the egg and molasses until combined.
  3. Lastly, stir in the remaining ingredients, cover, and refridgerate for 2 hours.
  4. When ready to bake, preheat the oven to 350°F and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
  5. Cut festive shapes out of your dough, or shape the dough into 1 inch balls and place them about 2 inches apart onto your baking sheets.
  6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until soft in the center.
  7. Cool for about 2 and 1/2 minutes before removing from baking sheets.
