Resep Basic Recipe for Custard Cream

Ingredients :

  • 6 each Egg yolks
  • 2 tbsp Cake flour
  • 8 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tsp Salted Butter
  • 1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract

Method :
  1. Whisk egg yolks , sugar , vanilla extract and flour together until well-combined.
  2. Simmer milk and butter over low heat. Do not cook the milk but just let the milk becomes hot and the butter is melted.
  3. When the milk mixture is ready , pour in egg yolk mixture little at a time and whisk the mixture while adding the milk.
  4. Strain back into the pot.
  5. On a low heat , whisk your custard continuously until it thickens.
  6. Remove from the heat and pour it a heat-proof bowl.
  7. Enjoy! Serve as a dipping sauce for biscuits and bread of your choice.
