
Ingredients :
- 6 each Egg yolks
- 2 tbsp Cake flour
- 8 tbsp Sugar
- 1 cup Milk
- 4 tsp Salted Butter
- 1/2 tbsp Vanilla extract
Method :
- Whisk egg yolks , sugar , vanilla extract and flour together until well-combined.
- Simmer milk and butter over low heat. Do not cook the milk but just let the milk becomes hot and the butter is melted.
- When the milk mixture is ready , pour in egg yolk mixture little at a time and whisk the mixture while adding the milk.
- Strain back into the pot.
- On a low heat , whisk your custard continuously until it thickens.
- Remove from the heat and pour it a heat-proof bowl.
- Enjoy! Serve as a dipping sauce for biscuits and bread of your choice.
