Ingredients :
- 10 L (40 cups) water
- 2 teaspoons yeast
- 1 handful raisins
- 8 cups sugar
- 2 pineapples with peel
Method :
- Chop the pineapples in 2 - 3 cm (+- 1 inch) cubes
- Boil half of the water, sugar and pineapples
- Place the rest of the ingredients (but NOT the yeast) in a 20 l bucket and add the boiling solution.
- Let it cool down till lukewarm and add the yeast
- Let it ferment for a day or 3 and then syphon it off through a cloth into 2 l plastic cold drink.
- Add 5 raisins from the solution and 5 new raisins into each bottle and let it rest for a day or 3 before serving cold.
