Recipe Pineapple Beer

Ingredients :

  • 10 L (40 cups) water
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 1 handful raisins
  • 8 cups sugar
  • 2 pineapples with peel

Method :
  1. Chop the pineapples in 2 - 3 cm (+- 1 inch) cubes
  2. Boil half of the water, sugar and pineapples
  3. Place the rest of the ingredients (but NOT the yeast) in a 20 l bucket and add the boiling solution.
  4. Let it cool down till lukewarm and add the yeast
  5. Let it ferment for a day or 3 and then syphon it off through a cloth into 2 l plastic cold drink.
  6. Add 5 raisins from the solution and 5 new raisins into each bottle and let it rest for a day or 3 before serving cold.
