Ingredients :
- 3 large eggs
- 240 g sugar
- 140 g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Method :
- Separate egg yolks, keep egg whites for later. Add sugar to egg yolk and beat for 2 minutes. Add 75ml warm water to yolks and sugar and continue to beat until light and creamy.
- Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form
- Carefully fold flour and baking powder into egg/sugar mix. Then carefully fold in egg whites. Be careful not to beat out the air.
- Place into cake tin and bake for 15-20 minutes. Once out the oven let cool for a few minutes then remove from tin and place on wire rack to cool completely
