Recipe Chocolate Pecan Pie

Ingredients :

• 1 9inch pie crust (chocolate)
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 3 ounces bittersweet chocolate chips
• 4 large eggs. (room temp)
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 3/4 cups sugar
• 1 tblesp + 1 tsp molasses
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tblesp rum. (optional)
• 2 1/2 cups pecans halves

Method :

1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 325°
2. Prepare or thaw 9inch pie crust
3. Melt butter and chocolate chips over low heat set aside
4. PLACE IN OVEN AND BAKE UNTIL FILLING IS SET AND SLIGHTLY PUFFED, ABOUT 50 MINUTES
