Ingredients :
- 10 slices white bread, crust removed and rolled flat
- 1 can apple pie filling, or pie filling of choice
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Method :
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Cut crust off bread and roll each piece flat with a rolling pin.
- Combine cinnamon,sugar and nutmeg on a paper plate, set aside.
- Melt butter in small saucepan over low heat, then set aside.
- Pour Pie filling onto a plate and chop apple pieces into smaller pieces.
- Put about 2 tablespoons apple pie filling on each slice of bread and roll up
- Dip each roll into butter and then into cinnamon mixture and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet seam side down
- Bake 15 mins until brown and crispy, serve warm with scoop of vanilla ice cream
