Ingredients :
- 6 large peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion
- 1 Tbsp alt
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 bag mozzarella cheese
- 1 Tbsp garlic (powder or minced)
Method :
- Clean, core, and boil or steam the peppers for 5-10 minutes.
- Cook the beef and onion til brown.
- Add the salt, garlic, and tomato sauce to the meat.
- Stuff each pepper with the cooked rice and then the meat mixture.
- Bake peppers at 350° for 40 minutes.
- Now add some cheese on top and bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
