
Ingredients :
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Italian herb seasoning or dried basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- to taste pepper and garlic powder
- 1/2 cup raw long grain rice
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth or water
Method :
- Divide meat mixture into 4 equal parts. Firmly shape each into a ball.
- Place into casserole dish
- Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until rice and meat is done.
