Ingredients :
- 1 can black beans
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1 can tomatos
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 can tomato sauce
- cummin, chilli powder, salt, pepper & oregano
Method :
- Cook rice with chicken broth and water. Season the water well.
- In a skillit bring beans (drained), undrained can of tomato, 1 cup of water, 1 tbl spoon of cummin & chilli powder to a boil. Stir and let most of the liquid evaporate.
- Add rice and can of tomato sauce and stir until all warm and thick. Add oregano and stir. Serve immediately.
