Ingredients :
- 1/4 c Swiss cheese, grated
- 1/4 c cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/4 c goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 c bleu cheese or Gorgonzola cheese, crumbled
- 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2-4 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 tbsp white wine
- Dash Worcestershire sauce
- 1 garlic clove, finely minced, or 1 small shallot, finely minced (1 tbsp)
- 1 tbsp softened butter
Method :
- Grate or chop up the hard cheeses and place them along with all the other ingredients in the bowl of a food processor fitted with the metal blade. Pulse, until you have a smooth spread.
- Transfer to a bowl, cover well with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow the spread to become firm. Serve with endive or other crisp raw vegetables.
- Note: A dollop of this spread on top of a sizzling hot steak or lamb chop is delicious. 122 calories/serving; GL=0, Glycals=0
