Ingredients :
- 1 1/2 tsp instant yeast
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 90 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 tbsp butter (filling)
- 1 tbsp cinnamon (filling)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar (filling)
- 2 tbsp sugar (filling)
- 1/2 cup (1 tbsp.) powdered sugar (glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (glaze)
- 1 tbsp cream cheese (glaze)
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract (glaze)
Method :
- Add yeast sugar water and let it stand for 5-10 min
- Mix the rest of the dry ingridients together and wet ingridients seperately
- Knead the dough until smooth and set aside in a warm place until doubled
- When doubled roll out the dough into a rectangle
- Melt the butter and spread over dough
- Sprinkle sugar mixture on top and roll tightly
- Cover with plastic wrap and set aside for 1 hr
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Brush butter mixture over the top. Add more glaze if needed
- Bake for 30 mins
