Ingredients :
- 15 yukon gold potatoes
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon half & half
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 1 medium white onion
- 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 1/2 cup corn
- 6 slices turkey bacon
Method :
- Wash hands
- Get a non stick pan on high then add in a stick of butter 1 can of corn l thinly sliced white onion until the veggies are caramelized
- Once the veggies are caramelized in the same skillet add in 6 strips of turkey bacon wash your hands, the turkey bacon takes 6 minutes or longer on each side use tongs to take them out then degrease the bacon on a paper towel
- In a mixer add 5 yukon gold potatoes at a time until fully mixed
- Then add in 1 tablespoon heavy cream, and 1 tablespoon of half & half then add in 1 cup sour cream and 1 tablespoon pepper
- After the potatoes are all mixed in add in the veggies and the turkey bacon
- Get a casserolle dish the first layer is the mashed potatoes and the second layer is shredded sharp cheddar cheese then repeat this process
- Put the casserolle dish in the oven at 425 degrees for 5 minutes
- Use oven mitts to take it out when it"s done
- Then serve yourself some delicious mashed potato bake
