Ingredients :
- 100 grams butter
- 100 grams golden caster sugar
- 2 medium eggs
- 100 grams self-raising flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Method :
- Preheat oven to gas mark 5. Line a muffin tray with fairy cake cases.
- Cream together the butter, sugar and whisked egg
- Add the sifted flour, mix in a figure of eight pattern slowly until all flour cant be seen.
- Tablespoon the mixture into the cake cases.
- Put in the oven until well risen and golden (25 minutes)
- Leave in baking tray for 5 minutes then transfer on to cooling rack to cool completely before adding any icing.
