Ingredients :
- For 2 cups rice:
- 2 cups brown rice
- 3 cups water
- For 1 1/2 cups rice:
- 1 1/2 cups brown rice
- 2 3/4 cups water
Method :
- Bring rice and water to a boil.
- Cover, and reduce to a slow, steady simmer for 30 minutes. A wide, shallow pot with a tight-fitting lid ensures evenly cooked grains.
- Let the cooked rice sit for 10 minutes, covered, to absorb maximum moisture; then remove the lid, and fluff the grains with a fork.
- For rice cooker 50 minutes
