Ingredients :
- 175 grams plain flour
- 90 grams butter
- 6 tsp water
- 125 g Strawberry Jam
Method :
- Preheat oven to 200°C or gas mark 6
- Rub together the flour and butter until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs
- Add the water to the bowl and make the mixture into a ball of pastry
- Lightly flour the ball of pastry, rolling pin and work surface and roll the dough out to about 4mm thick
- Using your cutter cut out 12 circle shapes.
- Lightly grease your tart tray to avoid the pastry sticking
- Place the circle shaped dough into your tart tray and add a small amount of strawberry jam to each half filling the case
- Bake in the oven for approximatley 15-18 minutes. leave to cool and then enjoy.
