Recipe Herbed Green Beans

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed but not cut
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves, finely crushed
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Pinch freshly ground black pepper

Method :
  1. Place the green beans in a medium saucepan and add enough water to cover them; place over high heat. When the water reaches a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until the beans are tender but still crisp. Drain.
  2. Return the beans to the saucepan. Add the vinegar, oil, herbs, salt and pepper to the beans. Toss and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until heated through. 56 calories per serving; GL=1, Glycals=0
