Ingredients :
- 1 lb green beans, trimmed but not cut
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp dried rosemary leaves, finely crushed
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Pinch freshly ground black pepper
Method :
- Place the green beans in a medium saucepan and add enough water to cover them; place over high heat. When the water reaches a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until the beans are tender but still crisp. Drain.
- Return the beans to the saucepan. Add the vinegar, oil, herbs, salt and pepper to the beans. Toss and cook over medium heat for 1-2 minutes or until heated through. 56 calories per serving; GL=1, Glycals=0
