Ingredients :
- 120-140 g desiccated shredded coconut (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 tsp ghee or butter
- 240 ml whole milk (1 cup)
- 1/4 tsp ground cardamon (green)
- 4 Tbsp sugar
- Extra shredded coconut for rolling
Method :
- Melt ghee or butter in a frying pan on low. Add coconut and lightly toast so some of the shreds are golden brown. Be very careful not to burn!!
- Add milk gradually and cook on medium low. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
- When most of the milk is absorbed, add sugar and cardamon powder. Continue cooking on low-medium until sticky, stirring constantly.
- When the mixture is thick enough to form into balls, remove from heat and put into a bowl.
- While still warm, form into small balls using 1 Tablespoon of the mixture each.
- Roll in extra coconut flakes and they"re ready!
