Ingredients :
- 28 oz Tomato Purée
- 28 oz Crushed Tomatoes
- 4 oz Tomato Paste
- 1 Lg Yellow Onion
- 2-6 Cloves Garlic, minced
- 2-3 Tbsp Sugar
- 1-2 Tbsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Thyme
- 1/2 Tbsp Basil
- 1/2 Tbsp Oregano
- 1-2 Lb Ground Beef
Method :
- Form ground beef into meatballs or brown and use for meat sauce.
- If using as meatballs, bake on a lined sheet at 375° F for 30-40 minutes.
- If using for meat sauce, brown in a saucepan.
- Add chopped onions to pan and sauté for 8-10 minutes. Then, add minced garlic and cook for 10 minutes.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir and cover. Simmer on very low heat for up to 3 hours. Stir occasionally.
