Recipe Onions with a parsley stuffing

Ingredients :

  • 4 large onions
  • 4 tablespoons cooked rice
  • 4 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley, plus extra for garnish
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon white wine to moisten

Method :
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
  2. Cut a slice from the top of each onion and scoop out the centre to leave a fairly thick shell.
  3. Combine all the remaining ingredients, moistening with enough wine to mix well
  4. Fill the onions and bake in the oven for 45 minutes. Serve garnished with extra parsley
