Ingredients :
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 stick butter
- 26 oz tomato soup
- 1 qt half & half (or regular milk)
- 12 oz cream cheese
- 16 oz can diced tomatoes
- 16 oz can stewed tomatoes
- 1 Tb garlic powder
- 2 Tb dried basil
- 1 1/2 tsp Morton's Nature's Seasoning
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Croutons
Method :
- Saute onion in butter
- In blender, combine soup, half & half, cream cheese, and tomatoes
- Combine mixture and onions in pot
- Add garlic powder, basil, Morton"s Seasoning to soup
- Simmer 20-30 min
- Optional - top with mozzarella and croutons for serving
