Ingredients :
- 2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 can 15.5 oz dark red kidney beans, not drained
- 1 can 15.5 oz light red kidney beans, not drained
- 1 can 14 oz diced tomatoes
- 1/2 , 24oz jar of salsa
- 1 8oz can of tomato sauce
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 envelope chili seasoning mix
- brown sugar
- salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 shredded sharp cheddar, for topping
- 1 sour cream for topping
- garlic powder
Method :
- Brown ground beef and onion. Adding salt, pepper and garlic powder. Drain the fat off, and put into crock pot.
- Blend the can of light red kidney beans in a blender until smooth.
- Add all ingredients, (except sour cream and cheese for topping) including blended beans.
- Mix well, and cook in crock pot on low for 8 hours.
- Top with sour cream and cheese as desired. Enjoy!😄
