Ingredients :
- Rosemary garlic or cracker crust
- 1 cup Ortega taco sauce
- Mozzarella and cheddar blend (½ and ½)
- Sliced black olives
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 packages Ortega taco seasoning
- Chopped iceberg lettuce
- Chopped fresh tomato
- Crushed tortilla chips
Method :
- Mix both packets of taco seasoning into the raw beef. Split into 4 equal parts and freeze 3 for later.
- Simmer sauce down to about 1/3 cup to thicken.
- Spread sauce to the edge of crust
- Add cheese to a thumbnail’s width from the edge.
- Pinch and flick on taco meat.
- Add olives.
- Bake on a pizza stone until done (about 10 minutes).
- Cut, and then add lettuce, tomato, and chips in that order before serving.
