Recipe Cream of Mushroom Chicken

Ingredients :

  • 1 3/4 teaspoon butter
  • 1/4 can (10 3/4 ounce) condensed cream of mushroom soup.
  • 1/3 cup and 1 teaspoon water, or as needed
  • 1/4 (12 fluid ounces) can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 onion, chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 9 oz stainless, boneless chicken breast halves - cubed
  • 1/4 (6 ounce) can sliced mushrooms drained

Method :
  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter/ margarine. Add the soup, water and milk. Stir together over medium heat. Add the onion, salt and pepper and bring to a boil.
  2. When mixture starts boiling add the chicken and simmer all together until chicken is cooked through. Add the sliced mushrooms and boil over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring often. Serve
  3. ***You can use milk instead of water, can be 2% or evaporated milk. Can put green beans or carrots or celery in this dish up to the cook.
  4. This recipe can also be done in the oven.
  5. Before anything is done brown the chicken first
