Ingredients :
- 15 oz tomato puree
- 12 oz chili sauce
- 2/3 C ketchup
- 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1/3 C apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 C worcestershire sauce
- 2 T paprika
- 1 t dried minced onions
- 1 t onion powder
- 1 t garlic powder
- 1/4 t freshly cracked black pepper
- 1/2 t kosher salt
- 1/2 t crushed pepper flakes
Method :
- Combine all ingredients together in a medium sized saucepot.
- Whisk together. Bring to a simmer. Cook uncovered for 20 minutes stirring frequently. Do not boil sauce. Sauce will thicken and darken upon simmering.
