Recipe Applesauce cake

Ingredients :

• 1/2 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cup applesauce
• 1 cup raisins
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 cup nuts optional

Method :

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Cream the butter and sugar together. Mix in the egg and vanilla. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well
3. Turn into a well buttered loaf pan or bundt pan bake 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean.
4. Check the cake after 45 minutes that"s when mine was done
