Recipe Cheese And Bacon Stuffed Jalapeños

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup real bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 15 jalapeño peppers, halved lengthwise and seeded
  • 8 oz Monterey Jack cheese, cut into 2 inch X 1/2 inch X 1/4 inch strips

Method :
  1. Place a cheese strip in each pepper half.
  2. Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bacon.
  3. Grill peppers, covered, over medium hot heat for 4 to 6 minutes or until peppers are tender and cheese is melted.
  4. Serve warm.
  5. *When cutting hot peppers, disposable gloves are recommended. Avoid touching your face!!!!!*
  6. *This recipe yields 2 1/2 dozen.*
