Ingredients :
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 pound ground turkey breast
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1/8 teaspoon each salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons dark chilli powder (a couple of palmfuls)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cumin, half a palmful
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 block (12 oz) light cream cheese
- 2 boxes premium saltine crackers
Method :
- Heat a skillet over medium-high
- Add olive oil and brown the turkey
- Add garlic and onions and season with salt and pepper, chili powder and cumin. Cook 10 minutes.
- Add tomato sauce and heat through.
- Cut cream cheese into pieces and stir in to melt and combine.
- Serve with crackers.
