Ingredients :
- 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 tsp Ajwain seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 4 Whole hot red chillies
- 1 Tbsp Ginger, Garlic, Turmeric Paste
- a few Curry leaves
- 1 Medium onion, fine chopped
- 2 tomatoes, fine chopped
- 1 tsp Garam Masala
- 1 cup Yogurt
- 1/2 Cup Besan (Chickpea Flour)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 cups Water
Method :
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add cumin, ajwain and mustard seeds. Cook 2 mins.
- Add onions, tomatoes, curry leaves, ginger garlic turmeric paste and cook 5 minutes.
- In a bowl mix yogurt, besan and water. Use a whisk. Make sure there are no lumps. Add this to the pot. Add salt. Bring it to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cook to desired thickness. Don"t let it boil over. Don"t cover. You may leave a wooden spoon in the pot.
